Anigozanthos flavidus Red produces masses of distinctive, bright red flowers. This is a relatively tough kangaroo paw that is suitable as a feature plant, either in a container or in a sunny, well drained position in the garden. Also suitable for a landscape setting. Requires relatively low maintenance and can be grown with or without fertilising. Slow release fertiliser is most suited if desired. Prune flower stems back to the ground after flowering. Anigozanthus are very drought hardy, however watering at the time of flowering will benefit. Anigozanthos flavidus Red can grow to a height of 2m and a width of 1m.
