A garden is more than just a design—it’s a reflection of the people who live in it. It tells a story, evolves over time, and becomes a place where memories are made. At Yoxall Landscape Architecture, I create landscapes that feel personal, timeless, and deeply connected to the people and places they belong to.

My journey into landscape architecture started with a love for nature, the Australian bush, and a deep appreciation for art and design. My first real garden project was my own—turning my lawn into a dry native garden to help my dog, who was allergic to grass. Instead of relying on costly injections, I chose a more thoughtful, long-term solution that not only helped him but also created a space that was more resilient and beautiful. That experience shaped how I see landscape design today—it’s not just about aesthetics but about problem-solving, storytelling, and creating spaces that truly work for the people (and pets!) who use them.

I’m a registered landscape architect with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, and my experience has taken me across commercial landscapes, high-end residential projects in Perth, and even the Netherlands, where I learned to appreciate the poetry of gardens—the way they change through the seasons and over time. That philosophy is something I bring into all my projects. A garden shouldn’t just look good on day one—it should grow into itself, becoming more beautiful and functional as the years go by.
These days, I specialize in high-end residential landscapes and large-scale rural gardens across Western Australia and beyond. Whether it’s a refined city garden with thoughtful planting and beautiful materials or a sprawling rural property where we can dream big with large trees and outdoor spaces, I love collaborating with my clients to bring their visions to life. I also believe in designing with sustainability in mind—using local materials, incorporating permeable surfaces, and weaving in native plants to create landscapes that are not only beautiful but also in tune with the land.
The design process with me is personal, flexible, and highly collaborative. I work closely with architects, builders, and landscapers, offering both 2D and 3D design proposals, and I stay involved throughout construction—because the best results come from being hands-on. No two gardens I design are ever the same, because no two clients are the same. My job is to create a space that reflects you—how you live, what you love, and how you want to feel in your outdoor space.

Most of my clients only go through this process once or twice in their lives, and I feel incredibly lucky to guide them on that journey. I take pride in building real connections with my clients—many of whom become friends—and creating landscapes that they’ll love for years to come.
