This Western Australian perennial has strappy grey-green sword shaped foliage and small clusters of yellow flowers on the end of its stalks, providing pops of vibrant colour during Spring. Conostylis candicans produces grey-green sword shaped foliage that support small clusters of yellow flowers on the ends of its stalks during spring. These flowers will also attract birds to the garden. 


Plant Conostylis candicans in well drained soils with medium to poor fertility. This native does thrive in positions of full sun. Conostylis candicans is also wind and drought tolerant, as well as withstanding light frost. Conostylis candicans is low maintenance, however water well until established, and further during hot summer months. Conostylis candicans can grow to a height of 30 centimetres and a width of 50 centimetres.
