Parthenocissus tricuspidata is a type of Boston Ivy. It is a hardy, deciduous climber. Parthenocissus tricuspidata turns a beautiful bright reddish-purple in Autumn. As the Parthenocissus tricuspidata is not a true ivy, it is actually a part of the grape family, this means it is not likely to become invasive as many ivy's can do. Parthenocissus tricuspidata is ideal for covering large areas and it does not need support climbing to grow to a grand size. Parthenocissus tricuspidata prefers well drained soil and full sun to part shade positioning. Use slow release fertilizer in Spring.
