Frangipani is the most commonly used name for Plumeria in Australia. With a vast array of varieties and colours, the Plumeria continues to be an all round favorite for the avid gardener.Plumeria make ideal feature trees as the flowers provide lasting colour and contrast beautifully against the lance-shaped dark green leaves. Plumeria also make ideal specimens when grown in large decorative containers or pots. These deciduous trees give an overall sense of tropical paradise, peace and tranquility. Plumeria thrive in areas of full sun to part shade, and require well draining soils. Plumeria are also drought tolerant, and can do well in a large range of soil types.
