A hardy shrub with button like clusters of flowers in summer covering aromatic silver cypress-like follage. Use as a infil plant in clusters and shape low to maintain density. Prefers an open, sunny position in well drained soil. Remove spent flowers and trim to form a nice, compact shrub. Santolina chamaecyparissus will grow to a height of 70cm and a width of 1m.
