Trisaniopsis laurina Luscious

Trisaniopsis laurina Luscious in an improved form of Tristaniopsis, producing large lush, shiny, deep green foliage that is nearly double the size of the original Tristaniopsis, with a rounded growing habit. New growth is tinged copper and in cooler climates the leaves can turn red in winter. Luscious forms attractive bark which is also a feature, as it has a deep red colour that when peeled back reveals a mottled cream stem. Sweetly perfumed golden yellow flowers appear in summer. 


Ideal for deep gardens or as a shade specimen tree. Luscious is drough and frost tolerant, but will grow best in a warm moist climate. It will tolerate a wide range of soil types from clay/loam to rocky soils, ensure ample water is provided to establish. Tristaniopsis laurina Luscious will grow 8 - 15 metres tall and 5 metres wide. 


It can not handle coastal / salt winds. Plant use is only suitable around 1.5kms and beyond from the coast line.
