SIESTA PARK

Set beside Geographe Bay in Siesta Park, near Dunsborough, this landscape design responds to the relaxed character of Western Australia’s South West coast. The garden has been designed to sit quietly around the rammed concrete residence while preserving the mature trees that give the property its established, sheltered atmosphere.

A restrained palette of coastal and native planting creates layered texture beneath the existing canopy. Silver foliage, soft grasses, low shrubs and sculptural trees are arranged around natural limestone boulders, informal stone paths and generous areas of lawn. The planting provides privacy and seasonal interest while remaining suited to the sandy soils and coastal conditions of Siesta Park.

A swimming pool is carefully integrated into the garden, surrounded by dense planting and overhanging foliage to create a private retreat. Curved driveways and garden beds soften the arrival experience, while the landscape connects the home with the water and surrounding vegetation.
